Shearman & Sterling’s Antitrust practice has been nominated for multiple Business Articles Awards by Concurrences. The firm was shortlisted in four categories for the following articles:

• Private Enforcement: “New EU Directive promoting antitrust damages claims”
• Mergers: “Reasonable best efforts: Cold comfort to sellers”
• Cross-border issues: “Foreign antitrust defendants feel some relief from the reach of the Sherman Act in civil matters”
• General Antitrust: “Cartel fines: liability of private equity funds”

The aim of the Antitrust Writing Awards is to promote competition scholarship and to contribute to competition advocacy. The winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner on April 14, 2015 in Washington, DC.
