Shearman & Sterling advised Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, as underwriters in connection with the Republic of Peru’s SEC-registered issuance of 4.125% Global Bonds due 2027 for an aggregate principal amount of US$1,250,000,000, a new series of US dollar-denominated bonds.  The net proceeds from the offering will be used by the Republic of Peru to prefinance a portion of the general financial requirements for fiscal year 2016.
