Kutner Named to Financial News’ 40 Under 40 Rising Stars List

’ annual “40 under 40 Rising Stars” list. Kutner was one of the few private practice M&A lawyers who were recognized.
The list celebrates 40 of the brightest and most promising men and women working in finance-related legal services who are under 40 years of age and based in Europe, the Middle East or Africa. Candidates are assessed on a range of criteria, including their professional achievements and potential to reach a position of great influence.
Kutner’s noteworthy transactions include Liberty Global’s $8.2 billion acquisition of Cable & Wireless, Fairfax’s £165 million acquisition of APR and its £1.2 billion acquisition of UK insurer Brit; Nokia’s €1.7 billion buyout of Siemen’s stake in Nokia Siemens Networks and Co-Op Bank’s £1.5 billion recapitalization plan. Kutner is also active in pro bono work on behalf of the firm.
