Shearman & Sterling Advises Underwriters in Huntington Bancshares Incorporated’s $1 Billion Notes Offering

Shearman & Sterling represented Goldman, Sachs & Co., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and The Huntington Investment Company as the joint book-running managers in connection with the registered offering by Huntington Bancshares Incorporated of $1 billion aggregate principal amount of its 3.15% senior notes due 2021.  The proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes.
