Dixter Named a Rising Star
Partner David Dixter
(London-Capital Markets), named a “Rising Star” by Law360, was profiled by the publication on April 20. Law360’s Rising Stars Awards recognize lawyers under the age of 40 “whose legal accomplishments belie their age."
Dixter was selected for his work on ABN AMRO’s €3.8 billion IPO and listing of shares on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange -- the largest-ever Dutch privatization and the largest-ever Dutch IPO. “It was a massive media focus, massive national attention, quite literally on the front page of the newspaper every day,” Dixter said. “For me, it was a real step up in terms of what kinds of service we can provide and the types of transactions that we can do out of this office.”
The ABN AMRO deal is typical of the complex transactions Dixter routinely works on. He helps companies from the Nordic Peninsula to the tip of South Africa raise capital in a variety of transaction types, making him a fixture on the shortlist of top capital markets lawyers in the UK.
