Shearman & Sterling represented the various purchasers, both US and international, and the placement agent, UBS Securities LLC, in connection with the private placement of securities issued in two separate tranches by the Government of Aruba. The placement was made pursuant to Section 4(a)2 of the Securities Act of 1933, with the option for international investors to receive, in a manner consistent with Regulation S, their interests in the securities through Euroclear.
