Shearman & Sterling Recognized as One of the 'Global Elite' by Global Competition Review

Shearman & Sterling’s antitrust practice was named one of the 25 Global Elite competition practices by Global Competition Review (GCR) in its GCR 100 survey.  GCR recognized Shearman & Sterling for its “impressive cartel practice,” “[b]ehavioural work – particularly abuse of dominance” and as “a destination competition practice for clients who require solutions to particularly complex problems.”

In addition to the Global Elite accolade, the Brussels and New York practices are “highly recommended” by Global Competition Review.

The GCR 100 survey relies on independent research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and is widely seen as a comprehensive listing of the world's top antitrust and competition law practices.  Over 300 practices were reviewed for the 2017 edition, assessing size and make-up of practice groups, jurisdictional reach and case work across 50 jurisdictions.
