Shearman & Sterling Advises on Secondary Offering by Cemex, S.A.B de C.V. of Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, S.A.B. de C.V.’s Common Stock
Shearman & Sterling represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities, LLC, as the initial purchasers, in connection with a secondary equity offering by Cemex, S.A.B de C.V., as selling shareholder, pursuant to a registered public offering in Mexico and a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering outside of Mexico of 45 million shares of common stock of Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, S.A.B. de C.V. (GCC) at a price of Ps.95.00 per share. GCC’s shares are listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange.
GCC produces, markets and distributes cement, ready-mix concrete, aggregates and other cement-related products. GCC operates in the United States and Mexico, with six cement production facilities, 117 ready-mix concrete plants, 20 cement distribution terminals and two distribution centers.
