Shearman & Sterling Advises on Lowe’s Companies, Inc.’s $3 Billion Investment Grade Debt Offering and Related Tender Offer

Shearman & Sterling represented Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc. as representatives of the underwriters in connection with Lowe’s Companies, Inc.’s public offering of $1.5 billion of its 3.10% notes due 2027 and $1.5 billion of its 4.05% notes due 2047. 

The firm also represented Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC as lead dealer managers in connection with the company’s related cash tender offer for up to $1.6 billion combined aggregate principal amount of its existing notes.
