Shearman & Sterling Advises on Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, S.A.B. de C.V.’s $260 Million Notes Offering and Cash Tender Offer

Shearman & Sterling represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., BBVA Securities Inc. and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. as joint book-running managers in connection with an offering by Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, S.A.B. de C.V. (“GCC”) of $260 million 5.250% Senior Notes due 2024. The Notes are guaranteed by GCC Cemento, S.A. de C.V., Cementos de Chihuahua, S.A. de C.V., and GCC of America, Inc. and are listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.

Shearman & Sterling also represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., BBVA Securities Inc. and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. as dealer-managers in connection with Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, S.A.B. de C.V.’s cash tender offer and consent solicitation for all of its outstanding 8.125% Senior Secured Notes due 2020. 

GCC produces, markets and distributes cement, ready-mix concrete, aggregates and other cement-related products. GCC operates in the United States and Mexico.
