Shearman & Sterling has been recognized as “Real Estate Firm of the Year” at Italy's Legalcommunity Corporate M&A Awards 2017. 

The Italian real estate practice was recognized "a step above all the others" for its involvement once again in a number of significant M&A transactions in the Italian real estate industry. The award was chosen by a panel of general counsel from Italy's leading corporations and financial institutions, as well as professionals from the world of finance, business and communications. 

The awards ceremony was held in Milan on July 6.
