Shearman & Sterling counsel Helen Cook (Washington, D.C.-Project Development & Finance) has been named to the National Law Journal’s 2017 D.C. Rising Stars list. The list recognizes the Washington, D.C. area’s 40 most promising lawyers age 40 and under who have wielded great influence in their practice areas, are innovators, have developed unique practice niches, demonstrated strong leadership qualities, shown expertise in litigation or transactional work and committed themselves to pro bono, charitable and professional volunteer work.

Helen is recognized as a nuclear law expert by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and is the Chair of the World Nuclear Association’s Law Working Group.
