Shearman & Sterling represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. as underwriters in connection with the Republic of Argentina’s $9 billion SEC-registered bond offering. The offering consisted of $1.75 billion principal amount of 4.625% bonds due 2023, $4.25 billion principal amount of 5.875% bonds due 2028 and $3 billion principal amount of 6.875% bonds due 2048.
