Adam Hakki, global head of Shearman & Sterling’s Litigation group, was named the “2018 Securities Lawyer of the Year” for the entire United States by Benchmark Litigation, a leading guide to the top litigation firms and attorneys in the United States. Adam, one of six shortlisted lawyers, received the award at a ceremony held on February 15, 2018 in New York. He also won this award in 2016. Only one lawyer is selected nationally in each major area of litigation practice.

Adam was recognized for his work on a broad array of securities litigations and investigations, the high level of service he provides to all of his clients, as well as a series of courtroom victories in major cases.
