Shearman & Sterling is pleased to announce that Lachlan Poustie has joined the firm’s Project Development & Finance team in Paris as counsel. Lachlan has extensive experience in acting for sponsors, commercial lenders, development finance institutions and export credit agencies on the financing of complex energy and infrastructure projects and other assets, particularly in energy and infrastructure.

Based in Paris, Lachlan will work closely with the Project Development & Finance teams in London and will help strengthen the firm's capabilities in the energy and infrastructure sectors. His addition allows the firm to continue to optimize its growth prospects in emerging markets, particularly in Africa.
