Antonia Stolper Wins National Women in Law’s Lifetime Achievement Award

Antonia Stolper, Shearman & Sterling’s Americas Regional Managing Partner, Head of the Latin America practice group and a member of the firm’s Capital Markets-Americas practice, was honored with National Women in Law’s Lifetime Achievement Award on October 3 in Washington D.C.

The National Women in Law Awards, sponsored by Corporate Counsel and InsideCounsel magazines, honors top women lawyers who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession, whether in shaping the law, achieving outsized results for their clients, being an outstanding jurist or assisting those in need of legal services.

Antonia’s legal talent, as well as her passion and commitment to making a lasting impact on Latin America’s social and economic development, has propelled her to the top of the legal profession in the region. She is highly regarded for her work with the multinational corporations and banks that create sorely needed jobs in these fast-growing economies, and a strong champion for supporting individuals in their quest for justice and the opportunity to succeed. She has been a driving force behind the New York City Bar’s Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice’s Women in the Profession (WIP) Program in Latin America, which seeks to promote women in the legal profession.
