Shearman & Sterling has once again been recognized as a top firm for litigation in Benchmark Litigation’s 2019 edition, which highlights the market’s leading litigation teams.

The overall Litigation group was nationally rated as “highly recommended,” the highest designation, with the team ranked “Tier 1” (the top tier) for securities and “Tier 2” (highly ranked) for white collar, general commercial litigation and international arbitration as well.  Partners Stuart Baskin, Stephen Fishbein and Adam Hakki were selected as national “Litigation Stars,” and seven partners (Stuart Baskin, Stephen Fishbein, Adam Hakki, David Higbee, John Nathanson, Lyle Roberts and Richard Schwed) were selected as “Local Litigation Stars.”  An additional nine partners (Paula Anderson, Mallory Brennan, Agnès Dunogué, Daniel Laguardia, Mark Lanpher, Christopher LaVigne, Daniel Lewis, Djordje Petkoski and Brian Polovoy) were also recognized by Benchmark as Rising Stars and for the 40 & Under Hot List.
