Shearman & Sterling won “Project Finance Deal of the Year” for its work on the Jawa 1 LNG-to-power project at the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2019 held in Hong Kong on March 7. The firm advised Pertamina Power Indonesia, Marubeni Corporation and Sojitz Corporation on that deal, which is the first and largest LNG-to-power project in the Asia Pacific region and the highest profile deal in Indonesia in recent years.
