Shearman & Sterling advised TV and broadband company Liberty Global in connection with the sale of all of the shares in subsidiary Liberty Global Europe Financing BV to Swiss integrated communications provider Sunrise Communications for CHF6.3 billion ($6.3 billion).

Following the completion of a corporate reorganization, Sunrise will own all of the shares in certain Liberty Global subsidiaries comprising Liberty Global’s businesses and operations in Switzerland.
