Professor Emmanuel Gaillard, Global Head of Disputes, has been advising and representing African States and African companies in their international disputes for over 35 years and has acted in over 30 matters in Africa in 2018. She has defended the interests of African parties (both States and companies) in multiple high-profile cases. Most recently, she advised Sonatrach on its $1.2 billion partnership in a petrochemical project in Turkey.
