Shearman & Sterling was recognized at the 2019 Legal Week and American Lawyer Transatlantic Legal Awards. The firm was awarded “Equity Capital Markets Deal Team of the Year” for advising on the €670 million IPO and privatization of Nova Ljubljanska banka d.d., Ljubljana. The transaction was the largest European banking IPO in 2018, the first IPO in Slovenia in 10 years and the largest IPO of a Slovenian company ever.
