Shearman & Sterling was honored with three “Deal of the Year” awards from The Deal in an event held on June 20 at The Bryant Park Grill in New York City.

The firm earned the Deal of the Year award as well as the Healthcare Deal of the Year award for its work advising CVS Health in its $69 billion acquisition of health insurer Aetna. 

It also received the Consumer Deal of the Year award in the Retail, Food & Beverage sector for its work on PepsiCo’s acquisitions of carbonated beverage specialist SodaStream International. In this deal, the firm advised Perella Weinberg Partners, which acted as financial advisor to SodaStream.
