Shearman & Sterling’s Financial Restructuring & Insolvency team won the “Energy Deal of the Year” for its work in connection with the restructuring of Pacific Drilling. The award was presented at the 11th annual International M&A Awards hosted by The M&A Advisor on June 5, 2019, where partner Fredric Sosnick and associates Fay Teloni and Michael Guippone (all New York- Financial Restructuring & Insolvency) were honored for their work on the Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
