Shearman & Sterling advised Oldenburgische Landesbank Aktiengesellschaft (OLB) and NKBM on the financing of the acquisition of Koop Group in connection with a management buyout by funds advised by Steadfast Capital. Ronny Konink, the CEO of Koop Group, will acquire a stake in Koop.

The Koop Group is a specialist in the area of dewatering and groundwater treatment in connection with infrastructure projects and offers a full range of related industrial services. The transaction involves Koop Watermanagement Holding B.V., headquartered in Gildehaus (Germany), as well as the companies of Ko-Mats Group with subsidiaries in Germany and the Netherlands.
