Adam Hakki named Securities Lawyer of the Year by Benchmark Litigation

Adam Hakki (New York-Litigation), Global Managing Partner and Global Head of the Firm’s Litigation Practice and Disputes Unit, has been named the sole “Securities Lawyer of the Year” for the United States by Benchmark Litigation, the leading litigation and disputes-specific directory.  Adam has won this award in four of the last five years, and for three consecutive years. Benchmark Litigation selected Adam based on his many significant courtroom victories in the last year, his preeminent reputation in securities litigation and his status as a go-to lawyer for a broad swath of the world’s leading companies, especially financial institutions and asset managers, for securities and antitrust litigation and investigations.

Benchmark Litigation exclusively covers the litigation and disputes market in North America, encompassing the United States, Canada and Mexico. The winners are chosen based upon research conducted between March and November 2019, including extensive interviews with litigators and their clients to identify the best attorneys in their respective practice areas and states. Recently, Adam was also named Banking “MVP of the Year” by Law360 and recognized in publications such as Chambers USA and The Legal 500 as one of the country’s most sought-after litigators.
