Shearman & Sterling won “Project Finance Deal of the Year” for its work on Project RAPID, also known as PRefChem and Project Marigold, at the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2020. The firm advised Petronas on that deal, which is one of the largest and complex cross-border project financings in the sector. The project sits within Petronas’s Pengerang Integrated Complex which includes a cogeneration plant, an LNG regasification terminal, a raw water supply project, a deep water terminal and centralized and shared utility facilities.
