Shearman & Sterling advised VNV Global Ltd., formerly known as Vostok New Ventures Ltd. (VNV), in connection with its rights offering and redomestication from Bermuda to Sweden. The rights offering was conditional upon the completion of the redomestication, which was conducted pursuant to a scheme of arrangement and included listing on NASDAQ Stockholm.

VNV is an investment company which uses experience, expertise and a widespread network to identify and invest in assets with considerable potential for value appreciation. VNV has a special focus on online marketplaces and businesses with strong network effects, including significant investments in Babylon, BlaBlaCar, VOI, Gett and Property Finder.

The proceeds of the rights offering will be used to support continued growth in existing portfolio companies, for potential new investments and for potential new seed investments through VNV's newly established Scout program.
