Litigation Practice Recognized By Benchmark Litigation With High Marks

Shearman & Sterling has once again been recognized as a top litigation firm in Benchmark Litigation’s 2021 edition, which focuses on the top litigation firms and litigators in the United States.

The overall Litigation practice was rated “highly recommended,” the highest designation, with the team ranked “Tier 1” (the top tier) for both securities and antitrust. The practice was also ranked for white collar, general commercial and international arbitration. Six partners (Adam Hakki, Stuart Baskin, Stephen Fishbein, John Nathanson, Jeffrey Resetarits, Todd Stenerson) were selected as a “National Practice Area Star” and 12 partners (Adam Hakki, Stuart Baskin, Agnès Dunogué, Stephen Fishbein, David Higbee, John Nathanson, Jeffrey Resetarits, Patrick Robbins, Lyle Roberts, Richard Schwed, Todd Stenerson, Henry Weisburg) were selected as a local “Litigation Star.” An additional 10 partners (Mallory Brennan, Jeff Hoschander, Kieran Kieckhefer, Daniel Laguardia, Mark Lanpher, Christopher LaVigne, Grace Lee, Daniel Lewis, Djordje Petkoski, Brian Polovoy) were also recognized by Benchmark as a “Future Star” or to the publications “40 & Under Hot List.”

Benchmark noted that “the firm is called upon most often for its experience and acumen with matters of the securities and white-collar and FCPA enforcement variety and is quickly developing a leading profile in the antitrust space as well.”
