Shearman & Sterling Advises on Acquisition and Financing for Lower Eastside Girls Club Community Initiative

Shearman & Sterling provided pro bono assistance to the Lower Eastside Girls Club in its acquisition and financing of the new Center for Wellbeing and Happiness, which will be launched via a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 9.

The Lower East Side Girls Club is a community-based organization that works to overcome the fragmentation of youth services by providing services to girls and women via partnerships with nonprofit organizations, local businesses, academic institutions, faith-based communities and members’ families.
