Shearman & Sterling advised the lenders on the financing of the acquisition of a majority stake in Ai Fitness Group by NORD Holding. The financing package covers the financing of the purchase price as well as flexibility for future add-on acquisitions to realize the planned buy and build strategy. With the merger of the existing portfolio company Jumpers Group Ai Fitness forms a platform called “BestFit Group” focusing on the growing premium discount fitness sector in Germany. The new group is a leading provider with well over 210,000 members, 64 studios and a strong presence in southern and western Germany.
