Shearman & Sterling represented Canada’s TELUS International in connection with its agreement to acquire Lionbridge AI, a global provider of crowd-based data annotation services, in a deal valued at approximately $935 million. 

TELUS International, a unit of TELUS Corporation, is a customer experience innovator that designs, builds and delivers next-generation digital solutions for global and disruptive brands. This transaction will enhance its penetration of the new economy services market, allowing it to support AI applications as demand for high-quality, multilingual training data increases.
