Brian A. Finch is an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice and a member of the firm’s Energy Industry Group.
Brian has wide ranging experience in the U.S. and international energy sector where he advises clients on all aspects of the energy value chain including upstream acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, large-scale projects, LNG and NGL transactions and other commercial matters. His practice has a particular focus on transactions and counseling associated with the upstream and downstream oil and gas sectors.

- International oilfield services company - joint venture with a private equity fund for the acquisition of oil and gas assets in the Colorado
- International oilfield services company – counseling regarding and drafting of a series of related drill-co / participation arrangements with various Permian Basin producers
- International energy company – sale of oil and gas assets in West Texas
- International energy company – negotiation of deepwater Gulf of Mexico project participation agreements and associated deepwater joint operating agreement
- Private equity firm – sale of oil and gas assets in West Texas
- Private equity firm – acquisition of Utica interests and negotiation of drilling participation agreements
- Private equity firm – $70 million disposition of upstream assets in the Permian Basin in Texas
- Private equity firm – acquisition from and joint venture with a public energy company in connection with a structured drilling partnership to develop domestic unconventional resources in the Utica and Marcellus plays
- International chemicals company – project development and commercial contracting for world scale ethane cracker and gas-to-liquids facility in Louisiana
- Major chemical company - development of world scale EO/EG facility in Texas
- International chemicals company – counseling regarding and drafting of complex commercial NGLs supply arrangements and marine terminaling agreements
- International energy company – sale of gas stations and related assets in Chile
