Geoffrey Goldman is a partner in the Derivatives & Structured Products practice.

He regularly advises derivatives clearinghouses, trading facilities, trade repositories and other infrastructure providers on market structure, development of rules and documentation and commodities, securities and other regulatory issues.  He also has extensive experience structuring and documenting over-the-counter derivatives transactions of all types, particularly credit and equity derivatives.  He also has broad experience representing issuers, underwriters and users of structured products and structured transactions, including credit and commodity linked securities and synthetic and cash-flow collateralized debt obligation transactions. 

He regularly advises market participants with respect to commodities, securities and other regulatory issues related to derivatives and other financial products (including implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act and other regulatory reforms).  He has also advised clients on structuring public and private commodity pools.

Geoffrey represents major U.S. and foreign financial institutions, clearing organizations and trading facilities (such as IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) and its subsidiaries), other derivatives infrastructure providers, corporate users of derivatives, hedge funds and industry groups.

He is a regular speaker on derivatives topics at Practising Law Institute, International Swaps and Derivatives Association, ABA, New York City bar and Futures Industry Association and other industry association conferences and events.
