Gregory Marchesini is an associate in the Derivatives & Structured Products practice.

He focuses on advising buy-side clients, including some of the world’s most prominent hedge funds, in connection with a wide variety of trading and regulatory matters.  He also advises sell-side clients, derivatives clearinghouses, corporates, FinTechs and family offices, among others.

His practice consists of the structuring and documentation of a wide range of complex OTC derivatives and trading matters, and advising on various regulatory issues, such as the Dodd-Frank Act and other regulatory reforms. His experience includes negotiating prime brokerage agreements, futures clearing agreements, custody agreements, account control agreements, ISDA Master Agreements and Credit Support Annexes, repurchase agreements, securities lending agreements, long-form confirmations, master confirmation agreements, variance swaps, equity derivatives such as at-the-market equity forwards and block trade equity forwards in connection with equity issuances, deal-contingent hedges, loan-linked ISDAs, credit derivatives, FX derivatives, interest rate derivatives, commodities derivatives, among many other structured products and regulatory matters.

He also is part of the firm’s FinTech Foundry program, which supports the FinTech-related activities of clients and the wider global FinTech ecosystem including financial institutions, FinTech start-ups, accelerators and incubators, venture capital and private equity investors, and policymakers.
