Clarissa Marischen is a Special Attorney in the Emerging Growth practice.
She focuses on intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on technology contracting and trademarks.
She has extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of technology licensing agreements, cooperative research and development agreements, marketing and distribution agreements, and intellectual property purchases and sales. In addition, Clarissa works closely with the firm’s corporate attorneys in the preparation and negotiation of agreements addressing intellectual property issues in merger, acquisition, financing and other corporate transactions and in evaluating acquisition target intellectual property assets and liabilities.
Clarissa counsels clients in the selection, use, registration, protection, enforcement, licensing and transfer of trademarks, service marks and domain names, and manages domestic and international trademark portfolios associated with a wide range of goods and services, including software, hardware, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, cosmeceuticals, jewelry, food and beverages, and technology services.
