Josh Press is an associate in the Project Development & Finance practice.
His practice includes work on behalf of sponsors and lender, across a range of industries, including oil & gas, hydro, renewable energy and infrastructure financing.
Josh has represented multi-national corporations and financial institutions, including extensive work for Petrobras S.A., the Inter-American Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation, among others.
Prior to joining Shearman & Sterling, Josh worked at major international law firms in Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador and the United States.

- IDB, IFC and a consortium of Costa Rican commercial banks on the financing of a 305.5 MW hydroelectric facility in Costa Rica. **
- IDB and a consortium of syndicated lenders on the co-financing (with BNDES and COFIDE) of a 456 MW hydroelectric facility in Peru. **
