Christian Rudloff is counsel in the Project Development & Finance practice.
He advises global corporations and financial institutions as sponsors, suppliers, contractors, borrowers and lenders in project development, finance and asset acquisition and disposition transactions across the energy, oil & gas, infrastructure and mining & metals sectors, with a particular focus on cross-border transactions in Latin America. Christian’s primary focus is on the contracts related to the business of each individual project.

- OMERS Infrastructure Management on its acquisition of the wind developer, Leeward Renewable Energy, from affiliates of ArcLight Capital Partners
- The borrowers and sponsors on the $235 (approximate) million financing for the development, construction and operation of two solar photovoltaic projects in Mexico – Solem I, a 150 MWac solar photovoltaic project developed by Cubico Alten Aguascalientes Uno, and Solem II, a 140MWac solar photovoltaic project being developed by Cubico Alten Aguascalientes Dos, both of which are wholly owned subsidiaries of Cubico Sustainable Investments Limited (75%) and Alten RE Developments America (25%), an affiliate of Sojitz (“Latin America Solar Deal of the Year” (2017) by IJGlobal)
- Goldcorp on the development of the $2.2 billion El Morro gold/copper mine in Chile
- GE Capital Global Holdings on its acquisition of a 24.99% stake in YPF Energía Eléctrica from YPF
- DNB Bank, SMBC, Natixis, and Bank of China, as lenders, on a $171 million senior secured credit facility for Hidroléctrica La Higuera, the owner of a 161 MW run-of-river hydropower plant and related transmission assets located in the Tinguiririca River basin in Chile, 180 kilometers south of the city of Santiago
- Represented one of the consortium which bid on the desalination project being developed by Codelco in Chile
- Los Guindos Generación SpA on the financing of an expansion to increase by 133 MW the existing Los Guindos diesel-fired power station located in Chile

- ING Capital on the $325 million financing of three natural gas-fired simple-cycle power plants, totaling up to approximately 1,381 MW of combined generating power in Illinois, owned by RA Generation, a subsidiary of LS Power
- GDF Suez and Marubeni on the proposed development and financing for the GNL del Plata project, consisting of a floating LNG regasification facility off the coast of Montevideo, Uruguay, together with associated land-based facilities
- GE Energy Financial Services on the sale of an equity interest in the Mayakán Pipeline in Mexico to affiliates of EXI
