Omar Samji is a partner in the Project Development & Finance practice.
He has completed more than $28 billion of upstream, midstream, downstream, and oil field services transactions, including formation of the then-largest ever midstream master limited partnership (MLP). His clients encompass public and private energy companies, including independent, major and super major oil and gas companies, MLPs, private equity funds and portfolio companies, financial advisors, and alternative asset investors.
Omar focuses his practice on mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, project development, joint ventures, and other business combinations. He also has experience negotiating commercial and project development contracts, including construction and operating agreements, oil and gas purchase agreements, gathering and processing agreements, joint development and joint operating agreements, farm in and farm out arrangements, and transportation agreements.
