Garreth Wong is a partner in the International Arbitration practice.
He has over 17 years of experience representing companies, State-owned entities and States in business-critical, high value complex commercial and investment treaty arbitrations conducted under the leading arbitration rules (including ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SIAC, UNCITRAL and WIPO) governed by a wide variety of national laws. He also acts as arbitrator.
Garreth Wong has particular experience in matters related to emerging markets, including Africa, Eastern/Central Europe, Russia, China and Southeast Asia. His experience spans disputes relating to mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and shareholder agreements, telecommunications, oil & gas and renewable energy, natural resources and mining, aviation, financial services, sports, technology and pharmaceuticals.
