On 13 January 2011, France adopted a new arbitration law domestically and internationally that modernizes and strengthens the effectiveness of the institution. Continuing the work begun by the decrees of 1980-1981 and by the French courts, which have always been very supportive of arbitration, the reform gave France the instrument to maintain and strengthen the leading role that has always been his in this area.

Le 13 janvier 2011, la France s'est dotée d'un nouveau droit de l'arbitrage interne et international qui modernise et renforce l'efficacité de l'institution. Poursuivant l'oeuvre entreprise par les décrets de 1980-1981 et par les juridictions françaises, qui se sont toujours montrées très favorables à l'arbitrage, la réforme donne à la France l'instrument lui permettant de maintenir et de renforcer le rôle éminent qui a toujours été le sien dans ce domaine.
