Leeds Ruby Publishes Article on Global Trends in Leveraged Lending

Partner Caroline Leeds Ruby (London-Finance) published a chapter, “Global Trends in Leveraged Lending,” in the 2014 edition of The International Comparative Legal Guide: Lending & Secured Finance, co-sponsored by the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA). The chapter provides an overview of global leveraged lending and market trends, including: liquidity and CLO issuance, European and Asian borrowers, cov-lite loans, amend and extend transactions, accordion facilities, structural adjustments, dividend recapitalizations, downward pricing trends and reverse flex, convergence of bank and bond terms, super senior revolving credit facilities and “first out” facilities, portability, unitranche facilities, syndicate control, ABL deals, equity cures and regulatory and political overhang.
