New York of counsel Mark Kessel contributed a chapter to the recently released second edition of Health Care Mergers and Acquisitions Answer Book 2015, published by Practising Law Institute. Organized into four parts, the book includes practical advice on how to address the various industry-specific issues arising in health care acquisitions. Kessel’s chapter, titled “Financing Drug Development,” examines how the industry finances drug development and how companies have addressed recent developments in the biopharmaceutical industry.
