Contributing to IFLR’s Women in Business Law Group’s Best Practice Series on inclusiveness, partner Patricia Hammes (New York-Project Development & Finance) wrote an article on retaining talented women. In this installment of the series, Hammes and other Women in Business Law Group members discuss the efforts law firms are making to support and retain top female talent, and further support them to grow and become leaders in the field. “Having support and a sounding board goes a long way to fostering a sense of community among female lawyers, and keeps them engaged with the firm,” says Hammes. “When women feel supported in their personal and professional growth, they will more likely remain at a firm.”
