Partner Lorna Chen (Hong Kong-Investment Funds) moderated two panel sessions at the PE Leaders’ Summit at the 29th Annual Asian Venture Capital Journal (AVCJ) Private Equity and Venture Forum. 

Chen moderated a panel discussion titled “The Fundraising Factor: Follow the Money.” The panel consisted of senior management from The Blackstone Group, The Carlyle Group, BC Capital and Anacacia Capital. Topics included fundraising trends, LP/GP negotiations, co-investment structures and sources of funding.

Chen also moderated a panel consisting of regulators from Intertrust, Sanne Group, KKR and Guernsey. The topics covered various regulations and related reporting matters, such as CRS and outsourcing of back office functions. 

The three-day forum took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong and is Asia Pacific’s largest and most influential gathering of over 1,000 Asia-focused private equity investment and venture capital professionals from around the world.
