Partners Barney Reynolds and Thomas Donegan (both London-Financial Institutions Advisory & Financial Regulatory) hosted a webinar on MiFID II – SEC and EC Relief on Inducements and Research on November 1. The webinar followed the simultaneous publication by the Securities Exchange Commission and European Commission of new Q&As and exemptive reliefs concerning the new MiFID II framework for inducements. It included a discussion on the meaning and effects of these developments, as well as open questions on this important issue.
