2018 SIFMA COMPLIANCE AND LEGAL SOCIETY ANNUAL SEMINAR

Adam Hakki (New York-Litigation), Global Co-Managing Partner of Shearman & Sterling and Global Head of the firm’s Litigation Group, was a faculty member at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Compliance and Legal Society Annual Seminar held on March 18-21 in Orlando, Florida. The faculty at the seminar included prominent litigators, government regulators and in-house litigation personnel at major financial institutions.

Adam spoke on a panel titled “Litigation Update: Major Civil Cases,” which was moderated by James Mangan, Managing Director & Counsel at Morgan Stanley. Adam’s co-panelists included Brad Karp, Chairman of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison; Jay Kasner, partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom; and Maeve O’Connor, partner at Debevoise & Plimpton.
