Partner Emmanuel Jacomy (Singapore/Beijing-International Arbitration) spoke at the 2019 International Bar Association Annual Conference (IBA) in Seoul from September 22-27.
The IBA influences the development of international law reform and shapes the future of the legal profession throughout the world. The IBA Annual Conference is the largest gathering of international lawyers globally.
Emmanuel participated in the session entitled “The Investment Arbitration Year in Review: Awards and the Upheaval in Treaty Arbitration.” The session covered the development legacy of Achmea, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, the new Dutch Model bilateral investment treaties and recent developments in investment case law.
