Shearman & Sterling partner Pawel Szaja was a panelist at the “Twentieth Annual Institute on Securities Regulation in Europe: Practical Implications of U.S. Law on EU Practice” conference. The three-day virtual event offered a unique focus on the application of U.S. securities law in the EU and addressed recent developments in market activity and offered practical guidance for companies and financial institutions across Europe and the U.S.
The panel session in which Pawel spoke was titled “Regulatory Developments Affecting the Capital Markets in the U.S.” and covered disclosure updates, SPAC developments and SEC enforcement issues.
