Partner Barney Reynolds spoke on a Future of Finance webinar titled “Why the Case for Regulating Cryptocurrencies is Becoming Unanswerable.”

The panel compared regulation of cryptocurrencies in a group of important jurisdictions; considered whether cryptocurrency concepts are novel enough to demand laws be re-written; and debated whether convergence or competition leads to better regulatory outcomes in the long term. Barney Reynolds spoke alongside Oliver Linch (Bittrex Global), Siân Jones (XReg Consulting) and Wilf Odgers (Shearman & Sterling). Dominic Hobson (Future of Finance) moderated the panel.
