Shearman & Sterling Advises Underwriters in American Tower Corporation’s $1.5 Billion Senior Notes Offering

Shearman & Sterling represented Barclays, Mizuho Securities, RBC Capital Markets, Santander and TD Securities as representatives of the several underwriters in connection with offerings of $750 million aggregate principal amount of 2.800% Senior Notes due 2020 and $750 million aggregate principal amount of 4.000% Senior Notes due 2025.

American Tower Corporation is a leading independent owner, operator and developer of wireless and broadcast communications real estate with a portfolio of approximately 87,000 communications sites, including wireless and broadcast towers located in the United States, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Germany, Ghana, India, Mexico, Panama, Peru, South Africa and Uganda. American Tower Corporation plans to use the proceeds to repay existing indebtedness it incurred under its 2013 Credit Facility.
